Wizkid (born July 16, 1990) is a Nigerian recording artist, songwriter, and performer. He rose to prominence with his song "Holla at Your Boy". Banky W signed him to his record label, Empire Mates Entertainment. Wizkid's most notable songs include "Holla at Your Boy", "Don't Dull", "Love My Baby", "Azonto", "Pakurumo", "Tease Me/Bad Guys", and "Dance For Me" to name a few.
Wizkid has worked with Bracket,[5] Lynxxx,[6] Iyanya,[7] Wande Coal,[8] Ice Prince,[9] R2Bees,[10] Wale,[11] Young Jeezy,[12] Akon,[13] and Femi Kuti [14] among others. Wizkid's debut album, Superstar, was released in 2011.[15] He is currently working on Chosen, his second studio album scheduled for release in 2013.
